Moving from GFC to Bloglovin’ | How To Easily Import the Blogs You’re Following

So, if you’ve been at all present on the Blogosphere for the past couple of months, you’re probably aware that good old Google Friend Connect is on its way out, and, come July 1st, we’ll all have to work out a new way to follow our favourite blogs.
Personally, I’ve always been a huge fan of Bloglovin’, and the transfer process was so simple that it was a bit of a no-brainer for me; I figured I’d whip up a post about it, though, just in case anyone else was still on the look-out for a new way to manage their blogs.

So, if you haven’t got a Bloglovin’ account yet, you can sign up here. If you do have an account, just make sure you’re logged in.
Now, just click this link, and the above page should appear. Hit ‘Import from Google Reader’ and you’re good to go!

Now, if you’re not a stickler for organisation, or you’d prefer seeing all your blogs in one feed, you can pretty much leave it at that; if, however, like me, their are quite a few different types of blog you follow, now’s the best time to categorise them; just hover over the little heart icon in the top right-hand corner, click on ‘manage blogs you follow’, and add categories such as ‘lifestyle’, ‘beauty’ and ‘fashion’, so you can easily filter your subscriptions according to your mood – and then you’re done!
