Breville Blend Active Personal Blender | Product Review

I’m a huge fan of smoothies; although I also love a good, fresh, veggie juice (and the nutritional benefits of juicing are hard to ignore), the amount of fruit required to make a good juice has never sat particularly well with me, and cleaning out a juicer full of mulch first thing in the morning isn’t exactly my idea of a good time. And, on days when I’ve taken just a little too long to perfect my eyeliner and am running slightly(!) late, even cleaning out a blender isn’t an option.
That’s why, when I spotted the Breville Blend Active under my ‘suggested’ items on Amazon, I knew I had to snap it up.

The concept behind the Breville Blend Active Personal Blender is pretty simple; throw your ingredients straight into the bottle, screw on the blade attachment, lock it in to the base of the blender, and whip up a delicious smoothie in a matter of seconds. Then, when you’ve got the smoothie to a consistency you like, rinse off the blade (much quicker than rinsing out an entire blender), attach the lid to your bottle, and go.

I have to say, the Breville Blend Active is easily my favourite purchase over the past few months. It’s cut my morning routine in half, easily, and the containers are the perfect size to throw into my handbag if I’m out. The blender itself is perfect, too; it crushes ice easily, and blends fruit and veg smoothly in a matter of minutes. The bottles are airtight, and the blades are so so easy to clean.

Would I recommend it? 100%. If you’re into your smoothies or shakes, this is an ideal product; and, being so affordable, it’d be great for smoothie newbies who’re looking for a way to incorporate fruit and veg into their diet.

The Breville Blend Active Personal Blender is currently available for £22.48 over at Amazon (here).

Are you a smoothie fan? Or is juicing more your thing?
